Undergraduate degrees

OSU's program in Botany provides undergraduates with a broad program in plant biology.   The Botany Department administers the B.S. in Botany (pdf) [degree sheet (pdf)]. Together with the Departments of Zoology and Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, we are jointly responsible for the B.S. in Biological Science [degree sheet (pdf)].

Undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences are initially assigned an advisor in the Student Academic Services office. Once you decide that you want to major in Life Sciences (Botany, Biology, etc.) you should immediately switch to the Center for Advisement in Life Sciences & Pre-Health Professions (208 Life Science East; 744-9965).

The advisor for all Botany and most Biological Science undergraduates is Jim Hull (744-9670; jwazihu@okstate.edu), located in 109A Life Science East.
